Tales of the Kicks: The 6 pairs I won't sell.

6PAIR

Vegas Sneaker Head's Krys Fabriquier, has bartered, bought, and sold many pair of kicks in his day. The sneaker aficionado behind the recently opened sneaker thrift and consignment store Rare Fiend, located in Junxion Complex, 5115 Spring Mountain Rd., shared with LVStreetCulture the six pair in his extensive collection, that he could never part with. Every pair has a story, and value, Fabriquier reveals his in the first edition of "Tales of the Kicks: The Six Pair I Won't Sell."
1999 Air Jordan Original Black Toe XIV: The Air Jordan XIV was my very first pair of kicks growing up a child. I graduated Kindergarten in them and anticipating next Saturday's reissue!
1997 Nike Air Total Max Uptempo: My freshman year of high school (2007), I was also into the Nike SB phase and did not appreciate Nike basketball shoes. I didn't have much, but my father handed these down to me, his old shoes for me to wear to P.E.
Nike Sole Collector Vegas Dunk High: I actually "un-ds'd" (broke in) this pair for my 20th birthday last year, but due to family emergencies, I had to sell them. With the help of good people, I came across another pair, beat, but still lucky enough to own a pair. This shoe also is a best of both worlds being that I lurked the Sole Collector forums since 2007 for them and them being a Las Vegas collaboration.
Nike Air Classic SB "MC Hammer": These were my very first pair of Nike SBs. In 2006, I was introduced to the conceptual ideas that Nike SB does. The MC Hammer being one of them, is 1/4 of the sneaker collection in the "Fallen Heroes pack," which consists of: MC Hammer, Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice, and Pee Wee Herman.
Nike Year Of The Dragon Supreme Air Force 1: I was actually given a pair of these for free for helping a buddy of mine with his garage sale. Due to the same family emergency as above, I had to sell them. Now, with the help of who is now a great friend, hooked me up with these gems for only $1 brand new.
Nike Air Max CB34: Growing up with my mom's side of the family, I was often compared to my older cousin Mike. There weren't many boys on my mom's side of the family, but most of them were heavily into sneakers, with Mike being one of them. Before he passed away, I remember the traditional Dim Sum family dinner back in Westlake, CA. I remember Mike had broke those joints out and remember how dope they were.
