World famous DJ Neil Armstrong does his Dinner & A Mixtape series in collaboration with Kaba Curry Japanese Curry House on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015! Enjoy his latest mixtape while grubbin' on a unique Japanese/Filipino 4 course fusion dinner offered for the first time!
“Dinner & A Mixtape” is the name of a worldwide series of events hosted by DJ Neil Armstrong, sharing his love of music & good food. Started in 2013, they have been held in New York, Hong Kong, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Manila Philippines.
The idea is simple – partnering up with great restaurants around the world, Dinner & A mixtape provides the opportunity to enjoy music and food together in a very unique setting. Often the restaurant will create a special menu just for the event, and the soundtrack is provided by a new installment in DJ Neil Armstrong’s Mixtape Library. Part eating experience, part listening session. The food nourishes the body, and music feeds the soul.
Menu includes:
- Hot cherry blossom sake with garlic/butter/soy edamame & ube tempura.
- Sinigang na buta (pork tamarind soup with traditional Japanese hot pot vegetables)
- Kare curry with tender braised beef/bok choy/grilled eggplant next to a bed of white rice.
- Green tea leche puto topped with whipping cream & dusted with matcha powder.
Meal will come w/ DJ Neil Armstrong's Warmfuzzy Part 2 on USB "cassette" -- PLUS access to download his ENTIRE mixtape catalogue & 2 FREE tickets to the 4/7/15 Tuesday Blend which he will be playing at live for ONLY $45.00 plus tax!
